Prof. Bruce Mitchell has won the Canadian Association of Geographers' 1994 Award for Scholarly Distinction. The award is given to recognize outstanding research in the field of geography. Also, Prof. Gordon Nelson has received this year's Regional Municipality of Waterloo 1994 Regional Environmental Award.
