Website links to Graduate Student Services

If you want a quick guide to student services available on campus, then visit the website for the graduate calendar.

Lynn Judge, of the University Graduate Office, said the graduate calendar's "http://www.adm.uwaterloo.ca/infograd/Grad_Calendar96-97/caltofc.html" section on Student Services offers Web hyperlinks to many student services. The section, itself, also provides detailed descriptions of each service.

"There are links to web pages for each service unit with the exception of Child Care, UW Art Gallery, and the Theatre Centre in the 1996-97 Graduate Studies Calendar," she said.

The student services listed include Housing information, Counselling Services, Career Services, Health Services, the Graduate Student Association, as well as University Policies on Discrimination, Harassment, Ethical Behavior and Human Rights.

Student killed in accident

A UW Science student, away from campus during summer, is dead after an early morning traffic accident last Sunday in Toronto.

Christabel Lee, 19, of Unionville, was struck by a southbound car at about 2:45 a.m. as she and a friend were crossing Kennedy Rd., near Lawrence Ave. E.

Lee was taken to a local hospital where she died. Her friend was treated and released. The driver of the car has been charged with impaired driving causing death.

Earlier this year, Lee completed her first year in the science program at UW, and was due to return to campus next month.
